Poem: THE FRIENDSHIP HEART

I searched a long, long time for such a perfect friend.
Who would walk along beside me, and you are what Jesus sent!
You've brought out the sun, on a shady day.
You have taken away the weeds, and planted flowers in my way.
I don't think I have told you. I want you to believe,
that I'm a better person, for the time you've given me.
So as you wear this heart, please have the certainty,
that I'll be here for you, now and for eternity.
